This tour was a big highlight in our journey in New York! Iren is such a friendly and nice person! We’ve seen so many places we would never have seen without her! She’s really passionate about what she’s telling on this tour, that makes it so much fun to learn about the history of New York! We ended up in a nice little jazz bar, with live music, dancing and nice wine. It was absolutely fantastic and Iren is such a nice person. We would really recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about history and spend the evening in a jazz club. So thank you very much Iren, we had a wonderful time.

I am an older lady & this was a one on one meeting. Iren made me feel so relaxed & I saw many things that I would never have visited or seen on my own. Her knowledge of the area was great & although I thought it was only a 2 hour walk it turned out to be very much longer & more inclusive. We actually ended the evening at a really great jazz venue at her suggestion, because she knew my interest in jazz. This was my final night in New York & she really made it a "Grand Finale" for me. The band was great, the singer incredible & the jiving/dancers were truly amazing. A wonderful venue & great atmosphere. I couldn't thank Iren enough especially when she walked me to the subway & my train platform.

I highly recommend Irens tour! Iren will take you off the tourist beaten path, and provide you with a wonderful N.Y experience filled with fascinating stories of New Yorks past. I took four Airbnb experience tours while visting. Irens memorable tour stood apart from the rest. I highly recommend it!

Splendid, marvelous, unforgettable, deep dive into history of New York through the discovery of key figures, such as famous writers, actors, inventors who lived and influenced the reality we know. The experience from the finger tips (you can touch some artifacts actually) to the mindset changes (the obstacles and cases of forming community in NYC). And of course, cultural experience, social mixing at unique places, - thank you for that. Jazz and cocktails were perfect end of the day. I highly recommend!

If you’re looking to experience swing dancing in the city look no further! Iren is fantastic, knowledgeable and inviting. She introduces you to everyone and everyone dances! I was able to dance all night, felt comfortable and truly enjoyed my experience. Will do it again in a heartbeat!
